Privacy
The short version
There is no account, no sign-up and no personal information to collect. The Site does not identify you, does not follow you, and does not keep what you do here.
What the Site does not do
- No cookies. No page or endpoint sets one.
- No browser storage. Nothing is written to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB.
- No analytics or advertising. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixels, no ad network, no fingerprinting.
- No third-party requests. The page is a single self-contained document. It loads no external script, stylesheet, font or image, so your browser contacts no one but this Site.
- No email collection and no mailing list.
What is processed while you use it
When you draw a graph, the legs of your hypothetical position are sent to the Site's own endpoint so the server can price them. They are used to compute the response and then discarded. They are not written to any database or file, not associated with you, and not retained after the request.
The Site's application log records start-up and error messages only. It does not log visitor addresses, requests, or the positions anyone models.
Share links
"Copy share link" encodes your position in the part of the URL after the #. By
design, browsers never transmit that fragment to a server, so a shared position is carried by the
link itself and is never stored here. Anyone you send the link to can of course see the position
in it, so treat a share link as public.
Cloudflare
The Site is served through Cloudflare, which operates the network in front of it. As the network provider Cloudflare processes connection information, including IP addresses, in order to route and protect traffic, and it may retain that information under its own privacy policy. No analytics product is enabled, and the operator of the Site does not receive reports identifying visitors.
Cboe
The server fetches the option chain from Cboe on a fixed schedule of at most once a minute, whether or not anyone is visiting. Your use of the Site sends nothing about you to Cboe, and your browser never contacts Cboe directly.
No sale or sharing of personal information
The Site holds no personal information, so there is none to sell, share, rent or disclose, and none has ever been. Nothing is transferred to advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.
Children
The Site is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. No information is knowingly collected from anyone, of any age.
