Acceptance

By accessing or using thetadesk.net (the "Site") you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Risk Disclosure & Disclaimer and Privacy pages, which form part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

What the Site is

The Site is a free educational and informational tool that draws theoretical profit-and-loss graphs and greeks for hypothetical option positions, using delayed market data. There is no account, no login and no paid tier. It does not execute, transmit, route or facilitate any order, it is not connected to any broker or exchange, and no position you build here is real.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Site. The Site is offered from the United States and is not directed at any jurisdiction where offering or using it would be unlawful. If you access it from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

redistribute, resell, republish or commercially exploit the market data shown here, or use the Site as a substitute quote feed or data source for another product;
scrape or bulk-download the Site or its endpoints, or issue automated requests at a volume that burdens the service;
interfere with, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or the systems that run it;
present output from the Site to anyone else as financial advice, a recommendation, or the product of a registered professional;
use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable securities regulation.

Market data is supplied by Cboe and is delayed. It is provided subject to the rights and terms of its source, it may be inaccurate, delayed further, incomplete or unavailable, and it is made available here for personal, informational use only. See Market Data & Attribution.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, text and software are the property of the operator. Product and company names mentioned on the Site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify those products; their owners are not affiliated with the Site and do not sponsor or endorse it. Availability and changes

The Site is offered on a best-effort basis. It may be changed, suspended, limited or withdrawn at any time, in whole or in part, without notice, and no feature is guaranteed to keep working or to keep producing the same results. These Terms may be updated; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept it.

Limitation of liability
